Determining key policies and decisions, creating teams for new projects of the group and motivating such teams to successfully implement the management policies is one of the key focus areas of him.

Living outside your comfort zone, readiness for failure, patience bundled with perseverance and a determination to ride on your talent are some of the success mantras as per him.

Dr Garg is a staunch believer of giving back to society and as such has taken up a number of C.S.R initiatives and is associated with a number of social causes.

Abhishek is the Executive Director of A.K.G and is the son of Dr. Ashok Kumar Garg. He has been a constant support to his father for more than 10years now supporting him in all his endeavours.

Being a commerce graduate from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi Abhishek has pursued his Post Graduation in Management (M.B.A) from International Management Institute, Delhi.. He also holds a diploma in foreign trade from IIFT, Delhi.

His marketing and diversification strategies proved to be highly fundamental in transforming A.K.G from a conduit brand to a national player in the entire plastic pipes segment for both electrical and water purpose. 2010 marked the year for Abhishek’s first venture that marked the company’s diversification into Plumbing, Sanitary and Agricultural Pipes and fittings.

He is a keen follower of new products and technological developments and is majorly responsible for implementation of all new and upcoming product expansions of A.K.G group.

Abhishek believes that modern businesses do need leaders who are aggressive and result driven, but there is a far greater need to be given on collaboration, communication and compassion to understand and take forward all stakeholders of your business.

His aim of securing the economic and societal goals of A.K.G has stemmed deeply through his own learning and beliefs as he strives to make the company achieve greater depths in the coming years.
